The purpose of this policy is to explain the company's practices regarding user privacy on the websites in the domain names owned by Advice Company, including this website at www.advice.co.il, and how the company uses the information provided by users on the websites or collected by it during website use.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, defined terms shall have the meaning given to them in the Terms of Use agreement.
1.1. Your personal details and/or personal information and/or identification details (hereinafter: "personal information") that the company receives from you are intended for the purpose of providing information or purchasing products according to the identification details you provided, including to the requested email address, without any errors and/or various malfunctions that would prevent you from receiving the items you ordered and purchased.
1.2. The personal information, as well as information about purchases on the websites (hereinafter: "the Information"), will be stored in the website's database in accordance with the provisions of the Privacy Protection Law, 5741-1981, and will be used according to the provisions of this section and/or according to the provisions of any law.
1.3. The company makes extensive commercial efforts to protect the integrity of the information and secure the information from third-party access. Information collection and confidential storage are carried out in a secure environment - the company uses a combination of security technologies, including website protection using SSL encryption technologies, security procedures, and other organizational measures to protect the information from unauthorized access, and/or use, and/or disclosure to unauthorized parties within the company and/or third parties by virtue of the agreement and/or law.
1.4. In addition, as detailed in the Terms of Use agreement, credit card clearing for purchasers through the website is carried out by the clearing provider, and the company does not store credit card details provided by website users on its servers.
1.5. Some of the uses of the website and/or the services provided on the website require registration, during which you will be required to provide personal details, and without derogating from the generality of the above, such as your full name and email address (hereinafter: "Registration"). Therefore, you hereby declare that the personal details provided to the company during registration are made of your own free will and with your consent.
1.6. The company shall be entitled to send you promotional material by email from time to time in accordance with the provisions of the Communications Law (Telecommunications and Broadcasts) (Amendment No. 40), 5768-2008 ("Spam Law"). The company may use the information you provide on the website – and information it collects about usage patterns on the website – to improve the services on the website and/or in any other way it offers, to contact you if necessary in accordance with the provisions of the Spam Law, or for analysis and delivery of statistical information to third parties. Such third parties and/or their employees and/or anyone on their behalf are prohibited from using this personal information for any other purpose, except as stated in this section above.
1.7. The company uses cookie technology and similar technologies for the ongoing and proper operation of the website (hereinafter collectively "Cookies"), including to collect statistical data about website usage, to verify details, to adapt the website to your personal preferences, and for information security purposes. As stated, the company dedicates resources and implements various security measures to prevent penetration into the company's computers and/or the website's database in order to thwart potential harm to the privacy of website users. However, the company cannot perfectly secure its computers and/or the website's database against unauthorized intrusions and prohibited use of information. Therefore, you hereby declare that you will have no claim and/or demand and/or lawsuit against us and/or anyone on behalf of the company due to such unauthorized intrusions and/or disclosure and/or use of information resulting from such unauthorized intrusions, by virtue of the agreement and/or law. 1.8 The company is not interested in receiving from you any content or information that is confidential or protected by any rights, and you are required to refrain from uploading to the website and publishing any such information. Therefore, any content or information you provide to the company and/or publish through the website or by any other means for publication (for example, in forums, comments, etc., if any) will be treated as non-confidential and non-proprietary information. Be aware that by sending content and information for publication, you grant the company a free, perpetual license to display, duplicate, copy, distribute, market, transmit, make available to the public, and make any other use of the content and information at its discretion. This means that you are not entitled, and will not be entitled in the future, to any payment for any content you provide to the company and/or publish on the website.
1.9 Information provided by you is subject to the provisions of the privacy protection policy in the agreement and/or the law. The company will, as far as possible, refrain from knowingly disclosing information to third parties, except to suppliers and only to complete the purchase actions you made on the website, unless it is obliged to do so by a judicial order and/or if it faces a threat of legal action (criminal or civil) against it due to actions you performed on the website. 1.10 The website contains links that refer to other websites. The company endeavors to link to websites that, to its best knowledge, do not harm the privacy of users on those other websites. However, the company is not responsible for the terms of use and/or the privacy protection policy on other websites, their content, and anything related to or arising from their use. Your use of links to other websites and/or your use of other websites are at your sole responsibility.
1.11 You are entitled to review the information collected and held by the company in accordance with these terms of use and the Privacy Protection Law, 5741-1981. Additionally, if the information in the company's databases is used for personal contact with you, based on your belonging to a population group, determined by one or more characteristics of individuals whose names are included in the database ("commercial offer contact"), then you are entitled, according to the Privacy Protection Law, 5741-1981, to request in writing that the information pertaining to you be deleted from the database. In this case, the company will delete information it needs only to contact you with commercial offers as mentioned above. Information required by the company for managing its business – including documenting commercial and other activities you performed on the company's website – will continue to be stored by the company according to law, but will no longer be used for contacting you.
1.12 The company may change the provisions of the privacy policy from time to time. If material changes are made to this policy, regarding the use of information you provided, a notice to that effect will be published.
